On Aug 22, 2017 I woke up in the hospital. It was just me in the car, I was running late to work and took a different route. My car was T-boned but it was ruled that I had the greater responsibility to stop; I have no memory of it so to my annoyance I can’t say how it happened. I did inquire about the other driver and was told they’re okay and would just need some physical therapy. …

The awaited animation to live action that has been well anticipated has arrived! I’m happy to tell you that Mortal Kombat is not a flop. Of course there are some flaws and I’ll touch on those but I do welcome a sequel. I automatically expect nothing less than phenomenal fight choreography from martial arts films. The fight choreographer Chan Griffin and stunt choreographer Kyle Gardiner worked together phenomenally and it was so pleasant to watch, not prolonged or undercut just good fights. I will say there is a cliché moment of our comrade died and now we can suddenly fight…

Y’all this movie is weird. If you haven’t already seen Justice League, aren’t a die hard fan and/or have lots of time to kill, go ahead and watch it. It’s not enough to change my mind about the film not being good but it does improve scenes. The Snyder cut does include character story that Whedon’s cut lacked, however, a good bit of it was unnecessary and the dialogue wasn’t any better. People were excited that cyborg actually got decent screen time, which I’m happy about but he’s just a stereotypical angsty black teenager suffering familial loss. Having less screen…

This review will contain a few spoilers; I’m going to try and leave some mystery for those still interested. I was not excited nor did I have high expectations from the first look, however, the credits say “based on” which I think they should’ve put more emphasis on during marketing; I can’t say it’d make me less anal about it though. By itself the series is decent and had more potential as it’s basically I different story. The bare bones of source material are applied in strange places causing confusion for the outcome; I’m curious how a second season would…

After hearing rather rough reviews I finally set aside some time to watch Wonder Woman 1984. This review will have spoilers, which will either deter or motivate you to watch the film. When I first saw the trailer I was intrigued; I liked the trailer better to be honest. I’m going to jump straight into the question of Steve, it was a wish. The culprit of the chaos is a wishing rock(citrine to be specific). There is an actual ancient name for it and it’s apparently the to blame for the destruction of the Mayan civilization and now, slowly but…

In desperate need of new jeans I popped into Madewell to take advantage of their jean recycling program. When I realized the size difference of the waistbands I thought expected the worst.
